Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team of MIMAROPA conducted the deliberation of Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI) Pro for Local Nutrition Focal Points last 23 September 2022 at Bell Mansion Hotel, Quezon City and via Zoom conference.

The deliberation was attended by eleven (11) Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team (RNET) members from regional offices of DOH, DILG, DEPED, DA, DAR, DBM, POPCOM, DTI, NFA, DOST, and BFAR, and was presided by Nutrition Program Coordinator Ma. Eileen Blanco.

Findings from each local nutrition focal points – Provincial Nutrition Action Officer, City/Municipal Nutrition Action Officers, District Nutrition Program Coordinators, City Nutrition Program Coordinator and Barangay Nutrition Scholars, including the score computation and awards were discussed.

The RNET will endorse the final scores to the Regional Nutrition Committee Chair, Director Mario S. Baquilod, MD of DOH-Center for Health Development MIMAROPA, for approval.  The highest-ranking Local Nutrition Focal Point at each category with final rating of at least 90% will be conferred with regional outstanding award.

The MELLPI Pro for worker component assesses the performance of frontline nutrition staff in carrying out their core functions in line with delivering nutrition services in their locality. Their performance is defined along with the following management dimensions: Coordination, Advocacy, Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Resource Generation, Documentation and Record-keeping and BNS Selection and Recruitment.
