The Bicol City/District Nutrition Program Coordinators Association conducted its 1st meeting for the year on 28 January 2013 at Jennifer’s Kababayan Hotel, Legazpi City. During the meeting, the group agreed to use a new name, Bicol Nutrition Program Coordinators Association (BNPCA). This will be the new and official name of the group  which was approved for registration with the SEC. During the meeting, the group was oriented on MYCNSIA, an EU-UNICEF supported project which will be implemented in 68 municipalities in the region. The group also  plans to visit areas in the country which are recipients of the coveted Nutrition Honor back to back with the national CDNPC Convention tentatively scheduled in August 2013.
