Davao City. The Bangsamoro Economic Develpoment Council  spearheading the Sectoral Committees' Assessment Workshop of the 1st Bangsamoro Development Plan (BPD) 2020-2022 held on January 25-27, 2022 at Dusit Thani Residence, Davao City.  The sectoral workshop is in partnership with UN-FAO and Unicef. The 5 BEDC committees are expected to provide updated  organizational data,  major gaps and milestones of 1st BDP, and provide critical inputs for the 2nd formulation of the Bangsamoro Development Plan 2023-2028.

BPDA Director General Mohajirin T. Ali reminds the important task of every planners present in the formulation of the 2nd BDP 2023-2028.A series of workshops and meetings shall be expected until the finalization of the BDP by August 2022.

For the Social Cluster, NNC -BARMM Dr. Sinolinding presented the output of workshop 1 of Social Development Committee's  Milestones and Accomplishments,  its facilitating and hindering factors of the programs/projects and the measures to mitigate the hindering factors.

Social Development Committee Chairperson and Minister Raissa H. Jajurie leads the discussions from workshop 1 to 4 and all member ministries provided inputs respectively.

The Bangsamoro Economic and Development Council's sectoral committees include Development Administration Committee (DACom), Economic Development Committee (EDCom), Social Development Committee (SDCom), Infrastructure Development Committee (IDCom) and Peace, Public Order, Safety and Security Committee (PPOSSCom).
