BUTUAN City- In a seminar organized by the National Nutrition Council, youth from the different groups in Caraga joined in the recitation of the “Panatang Makabata” before its main workshop on Nutrition Awareness and Empowerment of Youth Leaders on 18 November 2021 at Almont Inland Resort, Butuan City.

The solemn oath is pursuant to Civil Service Commission Announcement No. 34 series of 2021 in support to the 29th National Children’s Month Celebration.

The celebration led by the Council for the Welfare of Children, Department of Social Welfare and Development and the National Youth Commission encourages all government agencies to extend full support to the celebration.

This year the long month celebration is guided with the theme “New Normal na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan”.

National Nutrition Council Caraga included the recitation of the Panatang Makabata on the promotion and protection of the rights of the child on its lined-up activities in November.

Article 24 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child states that “Children have the right to good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment so that they will stay healthy.” #NASLabordo
