Tandag CCM2021Tandag City(Reyveen John B. Geli) The City Government of Tandag through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) gave orientation on the importance of camp coordination and camp management (CCCM) on 22-25 November 2021 at La Entrada, Britania, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.

Attended by the members of the Camp Management Team in Tandag, the training oriented the group with the camp coordination and camp management and services offered at the evacuation areas.

In addition, the training discussed strategies on how to deliver services efficiently so that the vulnerable sectors including the children, mothers, elderly, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups are being protected.

The City Nutrition Office represented by City Nutrition Action Officer Reyveen John B. Geli and City Nutrition Program Coordinator Mary Joy A. Galolo attended the training. During the discussion, CNAO Geli shared that the Nutrition Cluster one of the subsectors of Health Cluster to which nutrition related activities during disaster is being coordinated.



One of the identified priorities of the City Mayor, Hon. Roxanne C. Pimentel are different capacity development trainings as an important resource especially during disasters.

Part of disaster preparedness and mitigation, the training will help the Camp Management Team lay out programs and activities to secure a zero casualties and effective service delivery during calamities.#
