Butuan City- members of the Caraga Multi-Sectoral Organization Envisioning an Empowered and Resourceful Society through Nutrition (MOVERS) elect its new set of officers during its First Quarter conducted on 22 February 2022 at Almont Inland Resort, Butuan City.

The elected new set of officers are:

President:  Alfredo Plaza PIO Agusan del Sur

Vice-President Ismael V. Cubillas- RMNDXBC Butuan

Secretary Nelsa Auron-PIO Butuan City

Treasurer- May Diez -Radyo Pilipinas Butuan

Auditor- Isarael Palero- Love Radio Butuan

Spokesperson- Aiza Supas- Radyo Trumpeta Butuan

The officers shall also be joined by five Board of Directors- geographically identified representing the five provinces of Caraga region.

The mobilization of nutrition stakeholders and media partners as nutrition advocates in the region shall strengthen the promotion of good nutrition to increase public awareness and facilitate change of behavior of the population group towards good nutrition and healthy lifestyle in order to prevent the onset and worsening of malnutrition problem both under and over nutrition and lifestyle diet related diseases.

Joining as members of Caraga MOVERS are the personnel and staff of Caraga Nutriskwela Community Radio Network, provincial/city information officers, select publications from the academe (public/private), media group representative (TV, radio, print, and v/bloggers), the Philippine Information Agency Caraga and from the private sector/NGOs including the Breastfeeding Nanays sa Caraga. #RPOchavo
