Butuan City- On 4 July 2022 the Regional Launching of the 48th National Nutrition Month Celebration kicked off with a motorcade around Butuan City.

This was attended by the members of the Regional Nutrition Committee, partners from the military group, academe, media, Local Government Unit of Butuan City and the business sector.

First few in the City, the motorcade assembled at Guingona Park and started to move to Montilla Boulevard, City Hall roundabout then to Rosales Avenue and going to Bancasi Rotunda via J.C Aquino Avenue and back to the main area at SM City Butuan.

Astonished by the rhythm, people on the streets dance with the sounds of the drum operated by the group of students from Agusan National High School.
The almost one-hour motorcade ended at SM City Butuan where the formal launching of the Regional Nutrition Month is set.

Highlighted activities in the launching are messages of support from partners, the Oath Taking of the Caraga MOVERS-the media arm of NNC Caraga, Press Conference and nutrition and diet counselling.

This year’s nutrition month theme “New normal na nutrisyon, sama-samang gawan ng solusyon” calls for solidarity of actions in building resilience and combating malnutrition during a pandemic. #NASLabordo
