BUTUAN CITY- “May we have downs and challenges, but we have more victories to celebrate” shared by Dr. Nino Archie S. Labordo, Nutrition Program Coordinator of Caraga during the year end party of the National Nutrition Council Caraga staff on 22 December 2022 at Balanghai Hotel, Butuan City.

The celebration recognized employees who have contributed to the success and achievement of the targets and goals of NNC Caraga.

The region's manpower is based on the program implemented to identify areas.

Dr. Labordo recognized the four Development Management Officers handling the Dietary Supplementation Program in the Provinces of Agusan del Sure, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands.

Information Management Officers who will end their contracts in December 2022 were provided a certificate of commendation.

Further, technical and administrative staff were recognized for their unwavering commitment in achieving the work and financial plans.

2022 has been fruitful for NNC Caraga as the unit was awarded as one of the agency’s in Caraga region implementing the Continuing Professional Development for various professions for free.

On the other hand, the region was also recognized by different partner agencies for implementing various development programs in the region.

Dr. Labordo envisioned more collaborative engagement in 2023, particularly mobilizing the local government units along with their counterparts in implementing the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition.#NASLabordo
