To further improve technical abilities, owning a program or activity is suggested. Each staff have assigned deliverables and assigned geographic areas to handle.

Aside from the regular NNC program, Caraga region is allocated with four staff to handle the Dietary Supplementation Program-Tutok Kainin in the Provinces of Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands.

Dr. Labordo also shared the additional staff to handle the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) in selected municipalities of Surigao del Sur.

Soon after the final version and launching of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023-2028, NNC will be mobilizing local government units, partners and stakeholders for its advocacy and implementation, which would require attention, Dr. Labordo added.

Additionally, the workshop incorporated the NNC values to fuel the day-to-day transactions which most of the staff identified as important in working together. These values are accountability, sensitivity, passion, integrity, resiliency and excellence. #NASLabordo
