Have you experienced to run in long distance? How did you feel? According to research, there is undeniable health benefits related with running. It can help to reduce your risk of early death by almost 30 percent and no need for you to go in long distances just to gain these benefits. The research reported that running can decrease the risk of early onset death by any cause. Running just once a week is better than nothing at all. Researchers revealed that among the 230,000 people who engage running activities for several years, 27 percent of them have lower risk of onset death from any cause, 30 percent have lower risk of death from heart diseases, and 23 percent less risk of dying from cancer.
However, the researchers did not discover evidence which suggested that increased duration, steps, and regularity of running can able to gain more benefits. Time and distance of running does not affect the health benefits that you can acquire in doing such activity.
This means that running for less than the suggested guidelines can still lessen the risk of death from cardiovascular illnesses and cancer. The NHS recommends physical activity or exercise for adults ages 19-64 years old to involve a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity movement per week or 75 minutes of vigorous-intense activity a week. Health experts believed that being active can make you strong and healthy all the time.
