2 October 2020, Cagayan de Oro City – The National Nutrition Council X received recognitions in its commitment to continuously promote good nutrition through effective social media management. The Virtual Launching and Awarding Ceremony for the NNC Quarterly Webby (Q-Webby) Awards was held via Google Meet on 2 October 2020 attended by the NNC management, the NNC Web Team and Regional Publishers.
NNC X was recognized as: 1) 1st Runner-up for the Highest Number of Likes; 2) 2nd Runner-up for the Highest Social Media Engagement; and 3) 2nd Runner-up for the Most Visible Social Media Page.
All awards were solely based on Facebook and web analytics for the second quarter of 2020.
The award on Highest Number of Likes is granted to NNC regional offices (RO) with the highest number of Facebook users who liked the Facebook page in the reference quarter, while the Highest Social Media Engagement refers to the ROs with the most engaged users. The third award captured by NNC X, the Most Visible Social Media Page is awarded to ROs with the highest page consumption for the quarter covered.
The Q-Webby Awards also recognizes ROs for three other awards: 1) Highest Number of Articles Posted; 2) Most Visited Webpage; and 3) Highest Social Media Reach.
The first award of its kind at NNC, the Q-Webby Awards aim to capture critical performance indicators to recognize ROs who excel in specific indicators and to also inspire them to perform better in social media management, as this award will increase the likelihood of them being recognized in the Q-Webby Awards.
Nutrition Program Coordinator Gladys Mae S. Fernandez expressed, “NNC Region X is grateful to everyone who supported us in our endeavor to promote good nutrition.
