18 March 2021, Cagayan de Oro City – The National Nutrition Council X received a total of six (6) awards from the NNC 2020 4th Quarter Q-Webby and Annual Webby Awards 2020 held during the 1st Quarter Management Conference dated 17 March 2021.
The Q-Webby Awards is a quarterly recognition system of NNC Regional Offices’ (ROs) performance on social media engagement, based on critical performance indicators.
NNC X received the following 4th Quarter Webby Awards:
- Highest Social Media Engagement
- Most Visible Social Media Page
- 2nd Runner-up for the Highest Number of Articles Posted
Award for the Highest Social Media Engagement is given to a Regional Office with most engaged Facebook users. On the other hand, the Most Visible Social Media Page is awarded to the RO with greatest number of people talking about the regional Facebook Page for the reference quarter. NNC X swept the highest awards for both categories. Lastly, the Highest Number of Articles Posted refers to the regional webpage with most articles published for the quarter.
Other Q-Webby Award recognitions are: 1) Highest Number of Likes, 2) Most Visited Webpage, and 3) Highest Social Media Reach.
The Annual Webby Awards, also held on the same occasion, is a recognition scheme of NNC to award ROs with effective management of digital platforms (webpage and Facebook Page), equaling to exceptional performance in promoting good nutrition.
For the 2020 Annual Webby Awards, NNC X was granted the following recognitions:
- Runner-up for the Most Interactive Webpage and Social Media Account
- Runner-up for the Best Webpage and Social Media Account
NNC X was recognized as Runner-up for the Most Interactive Webpage and Social Media Account for its prompt and responsible engagement and responses to queries and comments on the posts and the page.
The highest and most coveted Webby Award, the Best Webpage and Social Media Account, is given to the Regional Office with sustained implementation of a highly visible, dynamic and engaging online campaign on the promotion of good nutrition. NNC X was awarded as the Runner-up for this. Another award for the annual recognition is the Most Syndicated Webpage and Social Media Account.
Lastly, the feature article of Provincial Nutrition Coordinator Stephanie C. Barrio was given Special Citation for demonstrating excellence in composition and its effectivity in advancing NNC’s promote good nutrition campaign through the world wide web. Her article, entitled “Reap and Eat what you Sow and Grow”, can be read here.
