15 December 2021, Cagayan de Oro City- As the Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program (TK DSP) is nearing to its kickoff in Lanao del Norte, Provincial Nutrition Focal Point Lizelle L. Bete took the lead to visit Barangay Calube Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC), lead Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organization (ARBO) for Phase III TK DSP.

Last 6 December 2021, an orientation was held with Brgy. Calube MPC together with the staff from Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office of Lanao del Norte. This was conducted at the ARBO’s office in Sultan Naga Dimaporo, and facilitated by PNFP Bete.

The meeting highlights include the presentation of the approved Request for Quotation (RFQ) that is for review in National Nutrition Council -Central Office (NNC-CO), discussion of required documents to be secured once the delivery will commence, discussion of the Marketing Agreement (MA) between Brgy. Calube MPC and NNC-X and updates of ARBOs in Phase IV Tutok Kainan DSP.

During the orientation, PFNP Bete made it clear to everyone present in the meeting that the budget for Phase III and Phase IV TK DSP is Php 32.00 per child with the same cycle menu for wet feeding scheme, with exclusion of rice commodity in the food items to be delivered by the ARBOs as it is centrally procured. 

On the other hand, in the presentation of RFQ, it was agreed that the RFQ will be shared to the identified ARBOs in Phase IV TK DSP for reference. It is also emphasized that all lead ARBOs in Phase IV TK DSP must submit complete legal, technical and financial required documents.

Furthermore, concerns on the 15% initial payment and payment for weekly deliveries were discussed. Processing time frame of payments for weekly deliveries will be after 60 days or two (2) months. The group also tackled about the updates for Phase IV wherein there were seven (7) identified ARBOs for the recipient LGUs. Four (4) of which are the lead ARBOs and the remaining three (3) are the “small brother” ARBOs.

The same orientation and meeting will be further conducted to other lead ARBOs in Phase IV TK DSP and NNC X will continuously coordinate, support and provide technical assistance to partners of TK DSP in Lanao del Norte Province. (PNFP Lizelle L. Bete)
