The project aims to assist the city government’s program under the City Nutrition Committee (CNC) for the promotion of proper nutrition by establishing a facility for baked goods such as bread, made with fruits and vegetables, that can be available and accessible to the community.

The Nutripan Technical Working Group convened a meeting last 6 April 2022 to finalize the Memorandum of Agreement and budget requirements. It was attended by Mt. Kitanglad Agri Development Corp. (MKADC), together with the Mahintana Foundation Inc., Dole Philippines and LGU Valencia through the CNC representatives.

Atty. Marlowe Selecios, one of the members of the Technical Working Group, gave feedback on the progress of the Memorandum of Agreement.

Once realized, the city will soon have its own Nutripan Bakery, which will be installed at the Farmer’s Market, and a Nutripan Van, a mobile bakeshop which will visit different barangays to serve hot and nutritious breads to the target groups.
