23 May 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – The National Nutrition Council Region X conducted the 2nd Quarter Nutriskwela Community Radio Station monitoring at Radyo Kalilang DXNN 104.9 FM radio station located at the Integrated Bus Terminal, Kalilangan, Bukidnon last 20 May 2022. Nutrition Officer I Vazamija Therese A. Villasi facilitated the monitoring.
Station Manager Rutchel Alicer and Public Communication Bureau of Bukidnon Province Jayniel Mahinay were present during the monitoring. Mr. Mahinay is one of the proposed personnel to be hired, along with four (4) others when the newly elected officials assume office on June 2022.
The Community Radio Council (CRC) was reorganized last 12 April 2022 with eighteen (18) members coming from different government and non-government offices. Also, NO I Villasi was able to meet the CRC Chairperson Reverend Adonis Baquirquir and its members. CRC committed to look for sponsors aside from the Local Government Unit funds to support the station operations, as well as to initiate income generating activity this year.
SM Alicer plans to invite one (1) barangay information officer on-board to cover all areas in Kalilangan, Bukidnon and to provide wide dissemination of nutrition and nutrition-related information aside from the updates coming from the LGU.
