City of Gingoog, the Municipality of Maramag and 29 Barangays from Northern Mindanao will be honored as the Regional Nutrition Green Banner Awardees during the 2014 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony to be held on September 30, 2014 at Cagayan de Oro City. The Regional Outstanding Baranagay Nutrition Scholar (ROBNS) Award will also be presented to Ms. Lotis L. Okit of Barangay Kalasungay, Malaybalay City during the event.

Malaybalay City and the Municipalities of Libona and Kadingilan, Bukidnon will receive Award of Merit for sustaining the effectiveness and efficiency of nutrition programs as Nutrition Honor Awardees.

Maramag, Bukidnon was endorsed by the Regional Nutrition Committee as contender to the Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition (CROWN) being a three-time recipient of The Regional Green Banner Award (2011-2013).

The Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony is the culmination activity of the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI) where local government units and nutrition service providers with exemplary performances in local nutrition plan/programs implementation are given recognition. sfbp
