The Region-wide Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation 2014 commenced Last April with the deployment of Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team 10 (RNET), headed by Chairperson Ms Marietta V Deiparine .
The Team prioritized the visit to the Region’s contenders for the First Year Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner for Nutrition (CROWN) Maintenance Award – City of Valencia last April 10-11 and Province of Misamis Oriental last May 19-22 respectively. The RNET visit is part of the preparations for the National Evaluation to take place.

The Annual RNET 10 deployment is one of the efforts of the Regional Nutrition Committee X (RNC-X) to assess the nutrition situation of the community as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of nutrition program implementation of the LGUs. It is also a way of appreciating the time, efforts, and resources provided by Local Implementers to nutrition programs more significantly. MELLPI has been utilized as a mechanism in motivating LGUs to continually support nutrition programs in order to address malnutrition in their respective areas.
