25 August 2022, Cagayan de Oro City - National Nutrition Council (NNC) X represented by Development Management Officer II (DMO-PNFP) Lizelle L. Bete embarked another preparation with the Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) of Lanao del Norte Province for Tutok Kainan program.

As the program's implementation moves steadily forward, DMO II Bete and the five (5) lead ARBOs for Phases 3, 4 & 5 Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program (TK DSP) convened last 15-17 August 2022 to take up more preparations of the program.

During the meeting, in order to move closer to the completion of paperwork and finally begin the delivery of goods that will jointly carry out profitable activities for their organization, DMO II Bete clarified the delivery process, strategies and plans, food safety guidelines, documents necessary for delivery, as well as their required documents.

Part of the meeting includes the signing of the Marketing Agreement (MA) of Sikyop Agriculture Cooperative, a registered cooperative of the Cooperative Development Authority to formally forge participation and commitment of the cooperative. Sikyop Agriculture Cooperative takes part in Phases 3, 4, and 5 of the initiative, which benefited nutritionally-at-risk pregnant women and children aged 6 to 23 months as the program beneficiaries.

Furthermore, all ARBOs were reminded of their roles and responsibility as the local supplier of food commodities for the Tutok Kainan program.

NNC X will continuously extend the support and provision of technical assistance to all ARBOs. More meetings will be conducted in the following months to scale up efforts and preparation for the Tutok Kainan program in Lanao del Norte province.
