9 December 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – The National Nutrition Council (NNC) Regional Office X held the first full face-to-face/onsite Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony for 2022 last 25 November 2022 at Chali Resort and Conference Center, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City .
Over 190 participants attended the ceremony, with guests of honor Dr. Azucena M. Dayanghirang, Assistant Secretary and Executive Director IV of NNC, and Rep. Rufus B. Rodriguez of Cagayan de Oro 2nd District. Also in attendance were Dr. David A. Mendoza, Chief of Local Health Support Division of Department of Health Center for Health Development-Northern Mindanao (DOH CHD-NM), local chief executives, Regional Nutrition Committee (RNC) member agencies, local nutrition workers, members of the local nutrition committees, contest finalists, and media partners.
Dr. Mendoza gave the Opening Remarks on behalf of DOH CHD-NM Director Jose R. Llacuna, Jr., while Nutrition Program Coordinator Gladys Mae S. Fernandez of NNC X presented the overview of the awarding ceremony. It was followed by the Keynote Messages by ASec. Dayanghirang and Rep. Rodriguez.

During the celebration, the newly elected set of officers of the Nutrition Action Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc. Northern Mindanao Chapter for CY 2022-2025 also took their oath, with ASec. Dayanghirang as the inducting officer.
The program ended with the giving of response by Mayor Edgar S. Lignes of El Salvador City, on behalf of the LGU awardees, and by City Nutrition Action Officer Hazel P.
