2022 RNAC Awardees: Regional Outstanding Local Nutrition Focal Points

Article 2022 RNAC Awardees ROLNFP23 December 2022, Cagayan de Oro City – Among the accolades and honors given during the 2022 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony is the recognition for the region’s outstanding local nutrition focal points (LNFPs).

Performing Provincial/City/Municipal Nutrition Action Officers (P/C/MNAOs), District/City Nutrition Program Coordinators (D/CNPCs), and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs) received their awards during the ceremony held last 25 November 2022, which took place at Chali Resort and Conference Center, this city. This year, the focal points were evaluated based on their performance for CY 2021.

Regional Outstanding Local Nutrition Focal Points

Awards were given to the focal points who achieved the required performance rating and ranked first among their fellow contenders in their respective award categories:

  • PNAO Marichu G. Tijing of Misamis Occidental – 2021 Region X Outstanding Provincial Nutrition Action Officer
  • CNAO Hazel P. Dondonayos of Valencia City – 2021 Region X Outstanding City Nutrition Action Officer
  • CNPC Julie Ann C. Brigoli of Valencia City – 2021 Region X Outstanding City Nutrition Program Coordinator (CNPC)

CNPC Brigoli likewise received a Plaque for Special Citations for having been qualified as contender to the national-level search for outstanding C/MNPC.

  • BNS Glecy T. Singsing of Brgy. Aglayan, Malaybalay City

  • BNS Marina A. Mangubat of Brgy. Kiara, Don Carlos, Bukidnon
  • BNS Jinny B. Oco of Brgy. Kalabaylabay, El Salvador City
