July 26, 2020 - Barangay Nutrition Scholars from Barangay Gabi, Ngan, and Tamia, Compostela, Davao de Oro continues to provide nutrition and nutrition related interventions to their community despite the present COVID-19 crisis. Interventions include provision of iron with folic acid supplements to pregnant women, home visits and vegetable seed distribution to pregnant and lactating women and to families with underweight children; and clinical assessment through hemoglobin determination targeting underweight children.

The current situation did not hinder our nutrition heroes to promote good health and nutrition while maintaining physical distancing and wearing of face mask.
