The Asuncion Municipal Police Station headed by PCPT Joselito L. Tan, Jr. with his team in partnership with the Municipal Nutrition Office conducted a very unique "An Egg a Day" Supplementary Feeding Program. The program targeted 13 severely underweight children 6-59 months old for 120 days and this program started last May 15, 2020 through their advocacy dubbed as "Makanunayong Serbisyo Alang sa Katawhan Gikan sa Kapulisan sa Asuncion.”

According to the Department of Health, “AN EGG A DAY IS OKAY!” Eggs are an excellent source of choline that is essential in memory and brain development. Also, it is an important source of protein and other essential vitamins and minerals necessary for good health and nutrition.
