The construction of the classrooms started on November 2016. Due to the challenges of implementation, it took four years to complete all 20 sites in the municipality. With these challenges, Kalahi-CIDSS IPCDD - CCL partnered with the Eastern Mindanao Command for the construction of the sub-project.
This sub-project under the Construction of Classrooms for Lumads (CCL), is one of the complementary projects implemented by Kalahi-CIDSS National Community Driven Development Program. This initiative aims to provide far-flung indigenous cultural communities with classrooms to address educational needs. Classrooms constructed under this project are strategically located in sites where indigenous people reside, thus, encouraging indigenous families to enroll their children to schools since classrooms are already accessible.
