CSC AnnivSeptember 5, 2022 - The Civil Service Commission - Regional Office XI hosted a thanksgiving mass to commemorate the 122nd  Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, with the theme "2021-2031: Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes."

In line with the celebration, the National Nutrition Council Davao Region, headed by NPC Dr. Maria Teresa Ungson, and the other fourteen (14) Agencies/offices including the Landbank of the Philippines, University of Southeastern Philippines (USP), Civil Service Commission (CSC), National Irrigation Authority, Department of Education, Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), City Government of Davao, Bureau of Fire Protection, Southern Philippines Medical Center, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), joined the Opening Eucharistic Celebration held at Metropolitan Cathedral of San Pedro, Davao City. 

The landbank of the Philippines read the first reading, and the Civil Service Commission recited the responsorial psalm. The second reading was delivered by the Philippine Coast Guard. Meanwhile, DMOII Charlane Jickain served as one of the mass readers during the Prayers of the Faithful.

Moreover, the theme for this year focuses on resilience as part of building smart organizations and future-ready civil service. During the pandemic crisis, the civil service demonstrated resilience through its willingness to accept challenges, ingenuity in providing continued assistance to the public, and support for public service continuity.
