KORONADAL CITY-The Nutrition in Development Organization of Social Educators of SOCCSKSARGEN” (Nutri-DOSE), NNC XII’s regional media group and information arm in the dissemination and advocacy efforts on promoting good nutrition, recently held its first organizational meeting for 2019 last January 29 at Cinco Niñas, Koronadal City.
The meeting was convened with 10 members coming from the different media groups in the region. The group bared its plan for 2019 which include the Launching of Nutrikomiks on October and to spearhead a 30-60 seconder radio spot making contest in line with the 2019 Nutrition Month theme which will be opened in all interested schools region wide.
The members also plan to push LCE’s Spouses Advocacy Meeting to intensify mobilization of LGUs by engaging the wives/spouses of LCEs to address immediate causes of malnutrition in the region.
New set of officers were also elected which will hold office for calendar year 2019-2020, to wit:
President: Agnes Myra L. Piñol (Director in Sales and Marketing, NDBC)
Vice President: Edwin Fernandez (Station Manager, Radyo Bida-Koronadal)
Secretary: Joy Combatir (Program Supervisor, DXKI)
Treasurer: Renee Joy Hallarces (Broadcaster, Radyo Kasadya)
Auditor: Jose Jemuel Dael (Manager, Radyo Natin-Tacurong and Isulan)
P.I.O: Rhoderick Beñez (Reporter, DXND-Radyo Bida-Kidapawan)
“I’m hoping for your full cooperation to help NNC in eradicating malnutrition in our region”, Ms. Piñol as she told the rest of the members being consistently voted as the President of the organization since 2015.
Moreover, appalled with the 2018 OPT and salt testing results, Nutri-DOSE members reiterates to heap up their support and continue to carry out their duties as the partner of NNC in promoting good nutrition.
NPC Latonio was indeed grateful for their commitment as concerted efforts will make everything else possible for the proper implementation of the nutrition program. Further, she hopes for the persistent support from the Nutri-DOSE members. (DPAurel/AMFlores)
