"Creating a mother-baby friendly ride". Yellow Bus Line Incorporated, one of the bus operating company in Region 12, has implemented the passed Regional Development Council (RDC) Resolution No. 94, series of 2011, A Resolution Requesting the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) XII to Issue a Circular/Directive Requiring All Bus Operators in Region XII to Designate a Breastfeeding Seat/Corner Inside Buses. This is in support to the implementation of Republic Act 10028 or also known as the "Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2009".
The aforementioned company has apportioned the 2nd to the last row seats for breastfeeding mothers to allow them to breastfeed their babies properly. Every unit has placed "signage" on the designated seats so they will be exclusively occupied by the breastfeeding mothers. This mandate provides privacy for the lactating mothers breastfeed their babies while in transit.
