SOUTH COTABATO-Consistent with the Department of Education’s  (DepEd) 10-Point Agenda to establish and sustain partnerships with stakeholders and to provide support pertaining to the “New Normal” in education, the Schools Division of South Cotabato (SDOSC) conducted Stakeholders Forum and Partnership Appreciation Program at Viajera Dine & Café, Brgy. Morales, Koronadal City, South Cotabato on February 2, 2021.

The activity aims to recognize the milestone and contribution of SDOSC partners and stakeholders in the implementation of Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan for CY 2020.  Further, NNC XII’s Nutriskwela Community Radio Station in Tupi, Radyo Kahiusa was among the recognized partners represented by Ms. Cecille Ibo (Anchor) and Mr. Arnold G. Jamindang, Jr. (News Director) during the said event, in appreciation of the unrelenting support of the station to improve access in achieving quality education despite the pandemic.  

DepEd also aims to strengthen ties with partners to address immediate needs of the learners. Meanwhile, Radyo Kahiusa continues to commit support with the DepEd’s partnership to help bridge the gaps in the field of education.  With this partnership, DepEd’s Radio Broadcasting Information is being part of Radyo Kahiusa’s programming and airing live/pre-recorded lessons for free every Mondays to Fridays at 8am to 12 noon. Hence, Municipal Mayor of Tupi, Hon. Romeo Tamayo acknowledges the significance of the radio station in education securing fund support for the station’s operation.

NNC XII on the otherhand empowers all Nutriskwela stations in the region to expand network thru partnership with other agencies and/or stakeholders not only in disseminating and promoting good nutrition but to contribute in creating quality and relevant programs.  (NO II Aurel/OIC-NPC)
