The way your food is grown, raised and produced can have a leading impact on your overall health as well as the environment. With the many health risks associated with chemicals or preservatives present in foods, selecting organic food products for the whole family is the best and smart choice to right nutrition.

Organic foods are food products that are produced, prepared and processed without the use of any chemicals. Several studies have shown that organic foods are often fresher, full of flavor and are rich in nutrients, such as Vitamin C, iron, magnesium and phosphorus that provide better nutrition and more disease-fighting antioxidants.

Additionally, organic foods contain fewer toxic synthetic chemicals which help to lower many health issues including certain cancers, birth defects and added strain on the weakened immune system. Lower levels of pesticides also reduce pollution, conserves water, lessens soil erosion, improves soil fertility, and utilizes less energy which ensures a safe, healthy and better environment.

Moreover, animals that are organically raised are not given antibiotics, growth hormones, or fed animal byproducts which make their meat and milk products richer in certain nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids which have many health benefits for your body and brain.

Furthermore, organic foods are GMO-free. Genetically Modified Organisms are any organism with altered or modified DNA in some way that does not occur naturally and it is linked to increased food allergens, internal organ damage and gastrointestinal problems.

Choosing organic foods means getting more of the healthy stuff that can have a positive impact on your health for better nourishment and for better living. (NOI Laurito/OIC-NPC Flores)
