07 January 2013, Koronadal City_ The NNC-XII Staff holds 2-day teambuilding activity at Eden Nature Park, Toril, Davao City. This is the first time that the staff holds its teambuilding activity outside of the region. The park is 95% man-made mountain resort 3,000 feet above sea-level provided an imposing view of Davao City and the Davao Gulf.

One of the goals of this activity is to take the staff away from the office and stress and find time to relax for two days. The group chose Eden Nature Park to become acquainted with nature and indulge in an authentic mountain experience – marked by cool crisp mountain air while enjoying the spectacular views of pine trees which exquisitely blend well with its background. Our teambuilding activity was more on totally outdoor adventures. We tried the rides offered in the park that thrilled us and the will-never-forgotten experiences.The experience generated lots of ideas as to how to apply the lessons learned during the fun routines to our daily work. There was a real sense of teamwork in several of the activities. There was a renewed sense of camaraderie and a better understanding of how each of us reacts to certain situations.

On the second day, the staff got the chance to tour around Davao City and of course window shopping then went home back to Koronadal City.

The day ended with the group’s insights that they should strive to renew their strength to conquer the daily tasks and challenges, not only in the workplace but also in other areas of their lives.
