The National Nutrition Council (NNC) XII distributes hygiene kits to all Local Nutrition Focal Points (LNFPs) of SOCCSKSARGEN as part of its continued support and assistance. Each kit includes two (2) bottles of Isopropyl alcohol, three (3) boxes of face mask and a face mask lanyard.

Given that LNFPs are considered frontline workers in the community, provision of hygiene kits to them is a way for NNC XII to ensure that local nutrition focal points are protected from COVID 19 virus. LNFPs are key players in the implementation of LGU's nutrition program; supervises and guides the Barangay based nutrition workers, facilitated, and ensures that the LNAP is formulated and implemented leading to an improve Local Nutrition Situation even amidst health crises.

The fight against COVID-19 is far from over. We haven't been able to return to normalcy in more than two years. The Department of Health (DOH) continues to advise everyone to use face masks, wash/sanitize hands properly and frequently, maintain social distance, and get vaccinated.
