In 2020, the nickname Marites sprang to popularity. The term has now become a widespread nickname used by Netizens that refers to a person who spends a lot of her time spreading interesting topics and gossip both online and offline.

The National Nutrition Council SOCCSKSARGEN Region, with one of its campaigns to increase health and nutrition awareness, adopts the new trend with her found friend Mariam, shorthand of a person who brings a lot of information, and launches the Nutri-Chika on Facebook, given that it is one of the most effective social media platforms in spreading information. Nutri-chika aims to strengthen awareness of the public about NNC, its mandate, various programs and projects, strategies to achieve optimum nutrition outcome as well the effects of good nutrition governance in the nutritional status of every individual in the society.

The first Nutri-Chika infographics posted on 22 February 2022 on the official Facebook page of NNC Region 12, enabled internet users to know and learn the creation and function of the National Nutrition Council. NNC XII prepares different topics, messages, and information every week to make sure that netizens will have something to look forward to.
