The Nutrition in Development Organization of Social Educators of SOCCSKSARGEN” (Nutri-DOSE), NNC XII’s regional media group and information arm in the dissemination and advocacy efforts on promoting good nutrition, held its first organizational meeting for 2022 on 19th of May via Zoom Videoconference.
The meeting was convened with 11 members participants coming from the different media groups and information offices in the region.
New set of officers were also elected which will hold office for calendar year 2022-2023, to wit:
President: Cherry Mae Exim (Anchor, NDBC)
Vice President: Shahana Joy Duerme (Information Officer II, PIA XII)
Secretary: Romanic Bartolome (Program Manager, Radyo Kadulangan-Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat)
Treasurer: Joy Combatir (Executive Producer, DXKI-FEBC)
Auditor: Johnarry Orella (Program Manager, Radyo Katribu-Tboli, South Cotabato)
P.I.O: Analiz Cabrido (The Informant, South Cotabato)
Other highlights discussed during the meeting include: 2021 Regional Nutrition Situation and PPAN Overview, Upcoming Regional Activities, 2022 Nutrition Month Celebration, Workplan for 2022 and Web and Social Media Nutrition Advocacy Updates.
Newly elected President of the organization, Ms. Exim conveys her thanks and gratitude for giving her the trust and assured that will help the organization to continue its endeavours in eradicating malnutrition in the region.
