The Provincial Nutrition Committee-Planning Core Group of Cotabato Province convened for a 2-day planning workshop held on 14-15 of June. The workshop aims on formulating the Province’s Provincial Nutrition Action Plan (PNAP) for Calendar Years 2023-2025 for AIP Integration to ensure budget allocation for nutrition programs and projects. It is also conducive to better understanding of investing in nutrition and directed on addressing the province’s stunting and wasting issues, with a particular attention on the First 1000 Days program.  In the activity’s attendance were Provincial Nutrition Action Officer, Ely Nebrija and 11 other selected Provincial Nutrition Committee Members (PNC) which took place at the ABC Landmark Hotel in Kidapawan City.  

Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator of National Nutrition Council XII, Retsebeth Laquihon together with Nutrition Officer III Annalita Mae Flores and Nutrition Officer II Danah Pearl Aurel facilitated the said workshop.

PNC will convene for the next round of LNAP finalization which will include determining the PPAs’ (Programs/Projects/Activities) budget. The committee will also issue a resolution for the adoption of their PNAP, to be integrated into the Annual Investment Program and Local Development Plan. (NOII DPA/ NOIII AMF/RNPC)
