A total of 100 participants come together for the 2022 Nutrition Month Launching with a theme: "New Normal na Nutrisyon, Sama-Samang Gawan ng Solusyon" spearheaded by the National Nutrition Council Region 12 in partnership with the City Nutrition Office of Koronadal.

The 48th Nutrition Month Launching held at Green State Suites, Koronadal City, were graced and participated by the Local Chief Executive of Koronadal City, Atty. Eliordo U. Ogena, Regional Directors, Josephine Cabrido-Leysa of DILG XII and Dr. Aristides Concepcion Tan of DOH XII, Assistant Regional Director Carmel Matabang of NEDA XII, and other members of the Regional Nutrition Committee who provided messages of support for nutrition programs in the Region.

RNPC Laquihon states that the 2022 Nutrition Month theme calls for solidarity to fight malnutrition in the new normal and holds a promise that after this pandemic, we can recover and build back better through improved nutrition and resilience.

Additionally, during the aforementioned event, the Regional Nutrition Month activities and contests, such as the 2022 Search for the Best Gulayan sa Bakuran, the F1KD Video Chronicle, and the Nutrition Symposium for Public and Private Health and Nutrition Practitioners, were launched.

The activity ended with the Nutrition Month Pledge of Commitment, in which guests and participants pledged their support for the nutrition-related projects, programs, and activities that aim to combat malnutrition and improve the health and nutrition situation in Region XII.
