A total of 100 participants come together for the 2022 Joint Regional and City Nutrition Month Launching with a theme: "New Normal na Nutrisyon, Sama-Samang Gawan ng Solusyon" spearheaded by the National Nutrition Council Region 12 in partnership with the City Nutrition Office of Koronadal.

The 48th Nutrition Month Launching held at Green State Suites, Koronadal City was enthusiastically participated by Hon. Mayor Eliordo U. Ogena, Regional Directors, Josephine Cabrido-Leysa of DILG XII and Dr. Aristides Concepcion Tan of DOH XII, Assistant Regional Director Carmel Matabang of NEDA XII and delivered messages of support for nutrition programs other members of the Regional Nutrition Committee including DOST, PIA and  DSWD also witnessed the activity.

RNPC Laquihon highlighted solidarity as a key to fighting malnutrition in the new normal, recovering easily, and building back better through improved nutrition and resilience. 

Additionally, during the aforementioned event, the Regional Nutrition Month activities and contests were launched such as the 2022 Search for the Best Gulayan sa Bakuran, the F1KD Video Chronicle, and the Nutrition Symposium for Public and Private Health and Nutrition Practitioners.

The activity ended with the Nutrition Month Pledge of Commitment, in which guests and participants pledged their support for the nutrition-related projects, programs, and activities that aim to combat malnutrition and improve the health and nutrition situation in Region XII.(RAL/AMF/RNPCRML)
