The municipality of Maitum Sarangani celebrated Nutrition Month in accordance with the nutrition month theme, "New Normal na Nutrisyon, Sama-samang Gawan Ng Solusyon". 

The LGU promotes proper nutrition through the conduct of various contests such as Nutri-tiktok battle, Breastfeeding Vlog, Nutri-cooking contest, and Search for healthy buntis on social media platforms in order to reach a larger audience for advocacy purposes.

The winners of the various contests were announced at the end of their nutrition month. The culmination began with a Zumba class for all attendees as part of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the community, particularly among government workers who spend most of their time sitting.

Partners from the provincial and local government levels, as well as non-government organizations, attended the event to support the program and pledged their commitment to supporting nutrition and nutrition-sensitive programs in the municipality. (KP/NO III/RNPC)
