28-29 September 2022-The National Nutrition Council of the SOCCSKSARGEN Region, headed by RNPC Retsebeth Laquihon, participated the 50th Regional Development Council Week Celebration for 2022 with the theme: "Mabulawanong RDC DOSE: Celebrating 50 Years of Regional Development". 

The CY 2022 RDC Week Celebration was held at Paraiso Verde in Koronadal City to commemorate the golden year anniversary of the establishment of RDCs in the country, as well as their contribution to advancing inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth in the Region and the country as a whole.

The celebration began with a motorcade, followed by a series of physical and sports events to promote a healthy lifestyle. Also present during the opening salvo  were Koronadal City Mayor Eliordo Ogena, DILG XII Regional Director, Ms. Josephine Leysa, and NEDA XII Regional Director, Ms. Teresita Socorro Ramos.

The fourth week of September each year is designated as Regional Development Councils' Week by Proclamation No. 1164 to marking the birth of the Regional Development Council (RDC) as the key structure for regional planning and integrated local planning and programming.
