The National Nutrition Council conducted the face-to-face Regional Nutrition Program Implementation Review last October 28, 2022, in Cinco Niñas, Koronadal City.

This annual activity aims to assess the implementation, progress, and development of the nutrition program and to promote learning and adaptable behavior to enhance performance. It also serves as an avenue to determine constraints in program implementation and strategies to manage and address it for efficient and effective RPAN implementation.

During the review, the Regional Nutrition Committee members from the Department of Health, Department of Education, Provincial Nutrition Implementers, and three cities from region XII presented their accomplishments and best practices that can be replicated.

Dr. Lalaine Calonzo, who was also General Santos City's Acting City Health Officer and City Nutrition Action Officer, concluded the implementation review of the regional nutrition program. (DMOII Margarse/ RNPC Laquihon)
