NNC XII convened the Local Nutrition Focal Points (LNFPs) for the 1st meeting of 2023 via Zoom teleconference. A total of 55 LNFPs from 53 LGUs at the provincial, city and municipal level were present during the meeting, including nutrition action officers, program coordinators, and local nutrition staff.
The discussion of the meeting focuses on the following agenda:
• EOPT update
• Inventory Status of 2022 Anthropometric tools
• Submission of 2022 Quarterly Accomplishment Report
• Updates on the upcoming Regional Activities
• Tutok Kainan updates
Some of the agreements during the meeting are as follows:
• LNFP to prepare a local nutrition situation based on the 2022 OPT reports and must be presented to the local nutrition committee for their information, reference, and appropriate actions
• LNFPs to submit updated inventory of anthropometric tools to NNC XII for the CY 2023
• NNC XII to conduct online orientation on the updated eOPT tool once available to all LNFPs in February 2023
• LNFP to submit updated masterlist of TK-DSP beneficiaries to the PNFP assigned.
• Distribution of LNFP’s advocacy jackets and BNS kits
• Proposed schedule for MELLPI Pro will be on 2nd Quarter of the year
