With the theme of “42 years of quality nutrition service”, almost two hundred employees of National Nutrition Council from all over the Philippines gathered at NNC Central Office in Taguig City to celebrate the agency’s 42nd anniversary on June 20-24, 2016.
The week-long celebration was participated by the NNC Region-VI staff. The first day included trainings for Records and Documentation Management per ISO Standards anchored by AD Chief Chona M. Fernandez and Quality Management Representative and NNC Web Team and Regional Publishers General Assembly and Capacity-building headed by NSD Chief Hygeia Ceres Catalina B. Gawe.
On the second and third day, the whole team had their cultural and educational visits to National Museum, Manila Ocean Park, Chinatown, Divisoria and Eat Bulaga.
The fourth day was filled with enriching and inspiring words from Mr. Francis Kong, International Motivational Speaker on his Values Orientation/Reorientation at the Workplace and Atty. Froilan D. Montalban from the Office of the President Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs on his talk about Improved Organizational Productivity through the Integrity Management Program.
To cap the week –long celebration, a Eucharistic Celebration was held in the morning at the NNC Board Room officiated by Rev. Fr. Marthy Marcelo and a film showing entitled “Boses” in connection with the Women’s Month Celebration was aired.
