Radyo Kaabyanan 88.5FM, a community radio station, is now on-the-air in Sibalom, Antique after the conduct of the Hands-on Training on Community Radio Broadcasting which was attended by thirty-five (35) sector representatives, LGU and Radio personnel of the said municipality.

The training was facilitated by the National Nutrition Council and MQ Media Productions where Ms. Nona Tad-y, Mr. Mario Garcia, Mr. Louie Tabing, Mr. Andy Vital, Mr. Kiko Flores and Ms. Mackay Quadra served as the trainers.

The said training also served as the venue for the organization of the Community Radio Council of Radyo Kaabyanan which will serve as the advisory council of the radio station.

The 3-day training was capped by an oath taking and turning-over ceremony to the Municipal Mayor of Sibalom, Hon. Joel Occeña.

Radyo Kaabyanan will start airing their regular radio programs on September 18, 2017.
