Iloilo City - National Nutrition City (NNC) Regional Office VI conducted a training of trainers for the Province of Iloilo to start the Phase II of the Early Childhood Care and Development Program in the First 1000 Days (ECCD F1K) Program at Punta Villa Resort, December 11-15, 2017.

The five day training was attended by D/CNPCs, BNS Coordinators, BNS Presidents and Vice Presidents, BHW Coordinators and Presidents form Passi City, Concepcion, Pototan, Tigbauan and IPHO representatives.

Participants were introduced to Idol Ko Si Nanay! and Gabay sa Pagsasagawa ng Participatory Cooking Demonstrations modules and refreshed their listening and building confidence skills as well as how too support mothers during  IYCF counselling. They were also taught how to use the Electronic Operation Timbang (e-OPT) Plus Tool and discussed the Technical Assistance Monitoring and Evaluation (TAME) for the ECCD F1K Program.
