Iloilo City - Representatives of the Early Childhood Care and Development in the First 1000 Days (ECCD F1K) Program areas from Negros Occidental participated in a training of trainers for Phase II of the Program, January 8-12, 2018.

Present at the five-day training were M/CNAO, D/CNPC, BNS/BHW Coordinators and Presidents, and MAO representatives from San Carlos City, La Carlota City, Cadiz City and the municipalities of Binalbagan and Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental. The staff of the PHO and OPA were also present.

Not unlike their Iloilo counterpart, participants were also taught using the Idol Ko Si Nanay! and Gabay sa Pagsasagawa ng Participatory Cooking Demonstrations, Gabay sa Pagpapasuso at Pagpapakain ng Sanggol at Bata modules and e-OPT guide. They also had their practicum on the participatory cooking demonstration and growth monitoring and evaluation and discussed the Technical Assistance Monitoring and Evaluation for the ECCD F1K Program.
