Early Childhood Care and Development in the First 1000 Days (ECCD F1K) areas in Iloilo Province went through a one-day Planning Workshop on Dietary Supplementation Program (DSP), June 21, 2017 at EON Centennial Hotel.

The planning workshop’s goal was to identify and finalize the design and mode of implementation of DSP per area, finalize the procurement and financial-related concerns and set a timeline for the conduct of activities related to the DSP program.

Deputy Executive Director Dr. Azucena Dayanghirang delivered a message and encouraged the LGUs to partner with other national government agencies such as the National Dairy Authority to complement the activities of the DSP.

 “You will not only be helping the pregnant women in your area but also help the dying industry of dairy.” DED Dayanghirang said.

 NO III Dianne Kristine Cornejo of NPPD, NNC Central Office facilitated the workshop, explaining the objectives and addressing the concerns of each LGUs regarding the program.
