*ECCD F1K PNC Trabado discusses the revisions on the TAME forms the participants

The National Nutrition Council, Region VI conducted its 1st Quarterly Joint Provincail/ City/ Municipal Meeting  (Iloilo Province) in Early Childhood Care and Development in the First 1000 Days (ECCD F1K) on March 8, 2019 at Panaderia de Iloilo, Arevalo, Iloilo City.

Each F1K area, Passi City, Concepcion, Pototan, and Tigbauan, reported the updates as well as challeges in the program components and fund utilization/ liquidation. The areas also shared their experiences on the implementation of Diertary Supplementation Program (DSP) for Pregnant Women (Iloilo Province is one of the pilot areas).

"We are learning from you" Dr. Helen B. Minguez, MNAO of Concepcion, commented. Among the four areas in Iloilo, Concepcion is the only area which has not implemented the DSP.

Aside from the updates, the 2019 Nutrition Situation Update Report was also presented by NO I Nelin Jean Emboltura while ECCD F1K Trabado reoriented the attendees with the revise Technical Assistance Monitoring and Evaluation (TAME) forms.

they were also informed of two (2) upcoming activites of the NNC: Public Consultation on RA 11148 "Kalusugan at Nutrisyon ng Magnanay Act" on March 26, 2019 and ECCD F1K Forum on April 25-16, 2019.

The meeting was presided by RNPC Nona B. Tad-y and attended by C/MNAOs, D/CNPCs and other key persons in the program.// AKJ
