F1K areas in Iloilo were visited by the Regional Technical Assistance Monitoring and Evaluation (TAME) team to survey how the program has affected the community in terms of the delivery of services and positive behavior change of target beneficiaries.

The team checked on the different program components of the ECCD F1K like the mother's class and food demonstration, home and community food production as well as the allocation of budget for nutrition programs.

PNC Trabado also lobbied to the barangay captains of barangays to include the F1K activities in their Barangay Development Plan and Annual Budget and suggested to barangays which were having difficulty maintaining their gardens to coordinate with Kagawad on Agriculture as well as the MAO to help them.

The team checked the progress of the Dietary Supplementation Program (DSP) for Pregnant Women as well and of the 12 barangays they've visited, no mother who availed the DSP has given birth to a baby weighing less than 2.5 kg.

The team visited Pototan, Concepcion, Tigbauan, and Passi City on September 16,19, 23, and 26, respectively. Agencies who joined this quarter's TAME visits were DSWD, DOLE, UPV BIDANI, and DA.// AKJ
