Despite all the difficulties to have a face-to-face communication the National Nutrition Council, Region VI paved the way to conduct the Joint P/CNAOs, D/CNPCs and PROVINCIAL BNS PRESIDENTS Meeting virtually on July 17, 2020  via Google Meet.

 The attendees were updated regarding the 1)Plans/Activities for 2020 Nutrition Month 2)Conduct of Conferences/Forums of NAOs and Nutriskwela Community Radio Station 3)ECCD F1K updates 4)Proposed virtual workshop on Integrating Nutrition in the 2021 AIP 5)Sharing of LGUs Re: good practices during E/C/MGCQ 6)Compendium of Local Ordinances on Nutrition, and 7)Revised Guidelines on the availment of NNC Medical and Survivorship Assistance.

They were also informed of upcoming activities of the NNC: “Fulfilling the Commitment to Deliver Critical Intervention during the First 1000 Days of a Child’s Life: Adapting to the New Normal” on July 27, 2020 and MELLPI Pro Re-Orientation scheduled per provinces.

The meeting was presided by RNPC Nona B. Tad-y and attended by P/CNAOs, D/CNPCs, PROVINCIAL BNS PRESIDENTS and NNC R6 staff.
