National Nutrition Council (NNC) Region VI conducted the 1st Quarter Joint Meeting of Provincial/City/Municipal Nutrition Action Officers (P/C/MNAOs), District/City Nutrition Program Coordinators (D/CNPCs), and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) Presidents last February 10, 2021, via Zoom. The meeting was attended by NAOs, D/CNPCs, and BNS Presidents coming from different provinces and cities in the Region.

NO III and OIC Sheryl Sedantes presided at the said meeting and the agenda is the following: Plans and directions for 2021, Federation of Local Nutrition Officer per Province CY 2021-2023, and other matters include discussion of the RDC Resolution no. 58, S. 2020, Nutrition Service Continuity Survey and DOH Strategic Plan for COVID -19 Vaccination.

The meeting concluded with agreements among provinces and cities to federate and elect their local nutrition officers for 2021-2023. Also, to inform and disseminate information and updates acquired in the meeting.
