NNC RVI met with DAR Region VI on 14 April 2021 via zoom to discuss important matters relative to the implementation of the Tutok Kainan Supplementation Program in the Province of Negros Occidental. The finalization of MOU between DAR and NNC, as well as the Marketing Agreements with the ARBOs was discussed. Present during the meeting is RNPC Reginaldo T. Guillen, NO III Sheryl C. Sedantes, ECCD-F1K PNC of Negros Occidental Joyce Espanola, and ARPO II Arni Sumaylo of DAR RVI.
The Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries' Organizations (ARBOs) a farmers’ organization that serve as channels for the provision of support services to beneficiaries of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) is going to play a key role in this program. NNC will partner with ARBOs under the stewardship of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) to purchase fresh produce directly from local farmers, fisherfolks, and cooperatives for the distribution of healthy and nutritious hot meals to be given to mothers as part of the wet feeding portion of the program to complete the 90 days feeding timeline.
