The First Quarter Meeting of the Regional Nutrition Technical Committee (RNTC) was held last April 20, 2022, at EON Centennial Plaza Hotel attended by Eighteen (18) participants from different agencies.  Mr. Reginaldo T. Guillen, Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator of NNC Region VI presided over the meeting.

The following agenda was discussed during the meeting:

1.) Nutrition Situation Update Report (OPT Plus 2021)

2.) 2022 Nutrition Month Theme

3.) RPAN 2019-2022 Review

4.) RPAN 2023-2028 Formulation

5.) Other Matters (FHSIS Report)

RNPC Reginaldo T. Guillen expressed hope for a reinvigorated nutrition program coordination in the region as most agencies are gradually but cautiously returning to conduct face-to-face activities while still observing the minimum health protocols. Likewise, all the RNTC members present were glad to have met face to face after two years of online activities.   Members present during the meeting exchanged updates, ideas, suggestions, and recommendations on the agenda presented by the NNC Region VI Secretariat.
